SMS Terms & Conditions – Oakland Property Management PM Line

These SMS Terms apply to the Oakland Property Management PM line, (510) 686-6471. It is the text line Oakland Property Management uses to reply to property owners about their property management and consulting inquiries.

Program

Program name: Oakland Property Management PM Line. Oakland Property Management LLC sends one-to-one text messages from (510) 686-6471 to property owners who opted in, about their property management or consulting inquiry: answers to questions, scheduling calls they asked for, and follow-ups on proposals they requested. No marketing blasts.

What the messages are about

We text property owners who ask about Oakland Property Management’s property management services or our consulting services on voluntary tenant buyouts and difficult tenant situations. Messages include answers to your questions, scheduling and confirming calls with Saj, and follow-ups on your inquiry or on a proposal you asked for. We don’t send marketing blasts, and we don’t text tenants from this line. Oakland Property Management is not a law firm, and consulting is not legal advice.

How to opt in (four ways)

• Website form (For Owners page only): check the optional box on the owner inquiry form at https://irentoakland.com/owners/. The box reads: “(Optional) I agree to receive text messages from Oakland Property Management LLC (PM Line, (510) 686-6471) at the number provided about my property management inquiry. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of service. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.” It is unchecked by default, and you can submit the form without checking it. If you leave it unchecked, we’ll reply by email or phone only.
• Text a keyword: text PM, OWNER or START to (510) 686-6471. The disclosure printed next to the number is the consent language: “By texting (510) 686-6471, you agree to receive texts from Oakland Property Management LLC about your property management or consulting inquiry. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of service.”
• Mailed postcard: our Oakland Property Management postcard shows the PM line, (510) 686-6471, with the full text disclosure printed next to the number. Texting the number or keyword on the postcard opts you in.
• Phone call: a clear verbal yes on a call, after we read you the script below. Only a clear yes counts.

You can reply STOP at any time to opt out. We never text numbers from purchased or third-party lists.

Opting out (STOP)

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message, and then no more texts from this number unless you reply START to opt back in. The confirmation reads: “Oakland Property Management PM Line: You’re unsubscribed and will receive no more texts from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.”
